The Bhutanese people have always made and used incense since the time of the Guru Rimpoche (Guru Padmasambhava),thus mastering the preparation of high quality incense in strict accordance with the formulae prescribed by Pema Karpo, the great yogi of the Drukpa school of Buddhism and Terton Pema Lingpa, the treasure discoverer of the Mindroling monastery.

USES: Locally Hand Made in Bhutan with the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene used as an offering to Gods, in rituals and  ceremonies and can be used daily as a natural fragrance and air freshener in homes and offices.

 Ingredients Used;

In this incense there are at least 27 Natural ingredients which are together grinded, powdered, pounded and blended to a perfect finish of this Incense Stick. Many rare Indigenous herbs are collected from the alpine and tropical regions of Bhutan. The common ingredients used are: giwang (bezoar), clove, nutmeg, saffron, and other medicinal herbs. The most important ingredient for incense is Shup, (juniper) collected from the Mountains of Changaphu and Pelela in Bhutan, which is mixed with other rare ingredients which makes this Incense so special and unique.
